Targa 43 Open Yacht Debuting At The Biggest Boat Show In Europe: Cannes Yacht Festival

Targa 43 Open Yacht Debut at Cannes
The brand new Targa 43 Open Yacht will be debuting at the biggest boat show in Europe: Cannes yachet Festival.

The Cannes Film Festival is not the only festival that takes over France; it is also home to the Cannes Yachting Festival! Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto in Cannes, France will be home to the biggest boat show in Europe this summer featuring the Targa 43 Open. The festival will go from September 11th to September 16th. It has taken place every summer since 1977.

This year, Fairline Yachts will be debuting their Targa 43 Open. For this, Alberto Mancini “reimagined” other Targa designs such as the 48, 53, and 63 foot models. The Targa 43 Open will have just as much power, and luxury.

The yacht is powered with twin 435 HP Volvo Penta IPS600 diesels, expecting to make 34 knots. It is being built with a deep-V hull form which is supported by resin-infused fiberglass. This creates a lightweight foundation and steady structure.

There will be two cockpit sun pads on the yacht. One over the transom garage, just next to the water access steps, and the other on the foredeck. The cockpit will be equipped with a U-shaped seating structure and a dining table. The roof over the dining table is retractable to fit specific desires of the owner. There is additional seating across the starboard where you will also find a 7-inch Volvo Penta display and single-lever controls.

The interior comes equipped with a microwave, and a two-burner cooktop. Of course, they couldn’t leave out a refrigerator and freezer combination. There is also another dining table inside. The interior decor comes in four styles, as show on their website. Amalfi, St. Tropez, Hamptons, and Capri are the design names all up for view.

The yacht comes with a two-head, two-stateroom layout. There are different plans that can be viewed under the Targo43 Open section of the site, under “Deck Plans”. The Lower Deck Forward Master and the Lower Deck Mid Master do have some differences, but both look just as exquisite. Photos are also available on the Targa page, and on the Fairline site itself.
