Update: I’m challenging Gamepal to prove they don’t get every account banned. Â Checkout my Gamepal challenge to see if they accept.
I am an infrequent World of Warcraft player. I usually just play with my son when we have some free time in the evenings. But because he plays a lot more than I get the chance, I’m always lagging behind in levels. So when someone told me about a service through a company called Gamepal that will have someone else play your character when you’re not playing, that sounded great. For a few bucks I could have them play my character and catch up to my son’s level.
I hired the company to take my level 27 rouge to level 40. A small jump by the looks of most of their orders. I paid $49 for this service through Paypal.
I checked my account the next day, and I was already at level 30. That’s much better than I could have done. But on the following day I got a frantic call from my cousin, the person who refered me to Gamepal. He said I should cancel the service ASAP because his WoW account was just banned. So, when I returned home, I checked my account and saw that I was still active at level 34. I logged onto Gamepal’s chat system and canceled my account. I also quickly changed my password so they could no longer log in.
The next day I went to log in to play with my son, and sure enough I got the following message:
You World of Warcraft account has been closed.
I checked my email and saw this discouraging information

This means that not only did I not move up a few levels, but the entire character that I have had for 18 months is gone.
So, what do you think Gamepal’s stance is on this? I’m sure you can guess, I’m just SOL. Now when I go to the chat, I’m blown off by being told, “You should have read our terms and conditions before signing up.” Â
But before I signed up, I logged on to their chat and asked them if there was any chance I could get in trouble from Blizzard for this. There response was just that it was going to be someone who is very good at leveling playing my character, and that it was not a violation. But as it ends up, the violation I’m actually being banned for is that their player was using some sort of automated software to play the game. Which I guess explains how they can level up so quickly.
I did some further digging and discovered this post on RipOffReport.com:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff215985.htm
According to this gentleman, he purchased a ready made character account for $400, and less then a month later, the account was re-claimed by the owner. Once again Gamepal’s response to this was that he is SOL.
It seems Gamepal is good at taking money, they offer many ways to pay them through Google, Paypal, etc…, but not so good at following through on their promise to deliver the goods.
I have sent emails to them, which will obviously fall on deaf ears. So at this point all I can do is provide a cautionary tale to those who are considering using Gamepal. If you are considering making a purchase through them, be aware that everyone I have heard from, and seen from my research has been screwed by them. I cannot find any happy customers. And when they do take your money, Paypal really doesn’t offer my recourse in the situation. My advice, do not use the Gamepal service at all.

Yeah that sucks! Looks like your character was reported for using a bot. Despite what gamepal.com say they do use bots to level their characters. I observed a character I had them level for me and sure enough they were using a bot.
That in itself is ok but if they use the bot badly then thats what gets you noticed and reported by another player.
Once blizzard investigate and confirm the use of the bot, you get banned.
You also need to be careful how long you leave it before you log back in after gamepal have done their levelling. this may throw a flag up a blizzard HQ. One day they see an IP from China logged in (gamepal leveler) the next day they see an IP from US or EU logged in, it may just be enough to get their suspicion up.
Anyway, I feel for you, especially since you lost other characters and gear you probably became attached to.
Yeah I feel for you mate, I just got my account banned because I got gamepal to level me a mage from 1 â 60, my account had a level 70 druid about 1k off buying epic mount, 60 priest and a few level 40 characters with about 100 days on the account that are now down the drain lolâŚ.. I guess it was stupid on my part not to have made another account and get the powerlevel then transfer the mage to my current account, then I wouldnât have lost so much.
Anyways gampal are poor powerlevelers and no discretion is used in their service. I noticed many faults, I logged on a fiends account to watch them level the mage, I did this roughly every 4 â 8 hours for a few days and did not see them log off the account once, the account was online for 6 days straight at one stage. I believe the character got to 42.5, sure enough the account gets banned. In gamepals terms of service it states the powerleveler will only be online for duration of 12 â 16 hours per day (to stop any suspicions by blizzard) not for 100 hours. How stupid can gamepal get I mean an account thatâs been online for 6 days straight of course blizzard is going to monitor this, blizzard also stated in the email they sent me that an economy exploit and flagged ips were used. Apparently gamepal used a computer with a flagged ip, Iâd say they got another account banned while farming gold/transferring gold on that particular ip then logged onto my account using the same ip, which then got my account flagged. So there were numerous reasons why the account got banned by gamepals poor powerleveling abilities.
I put these complaints to gamepal in order to get an appropriate reimbursement since I lost my account with so many hours on it, thinking I had a chance on the grounds gamepal screwed up. And all they offer me is a refund of the remaining unattained levels. I think this is unacceptable and that gamepal have ripped me off due to the poor service they provided me with. I agree with the first post do not get gamepals services they are very unreliable, and even if its their screw up nothing will be done about it.
I have been hearing a few horror stories about Gamepal and their poor practices. It seems that not only do they not feel responsible for the lost account, but they won’t even refund you what you paid them. And how are we supposed to know what level they were when they got banned to get a pro-rated refund? I put in a dispute claim with Paypal, which I would think should go my way.
I ended up just buying an account from someone on Craigslist for $300. I got a couple level 60’s to play with, so now I’m way ahead of my son! My cousin did the same, but his account got banned because he used the same email. Very silly of him.
I think the best way to nail Gamepal is just being very public about the service. Let people know what happened. Write a blog posting, create forum topics, etc… I am now ranked #5 for the term Gamepal. I’m going to make sure the first page is filled with info about their crappy service.

here are some email address i found on the Better Business Bureaus website that relate to other people being ripped off, you might want to have a crack at them for what its worth.
i also had used the power leveling service and guess wat my account got banned forever i had 8 toons on it some low and some higher i was gettn a toon leveled to 60 i play this account for 18 months and now every thing that i worked so hard for is gone how stupid of me to get the service i feel for every one that has used gamepals service cause it royally suks and they dont care wat happens as long as the receive money they all goo my advice to anyone thinking of useing any type of service from gamepal is FORGET ABOUT IT THEY WILL LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR YOU.
Gamepal totally Sucks- Not only did they get my account banned (fortunately only for 72 hours instead of permanantly) but they:
1) Took about 100G from my main character,
2)sent or sold off about 200G in enchanting supplies I had on a low level alt on the same account AND
3)took 500G from another alt on the same account on a different server.
When starting the service they clearly stated that noone would log on to my other characters….yeah right.
One of the ‘selling points’ of the service is that it is done by US folks…the p/l’ers that I had conversations with could barely speak english or understand me.
I wish I would have done a search on the company before paying them almost $200 to powerlevel a character.
For those of you who are investigating PL services, look elsewhere than Gamepal…THEY SUCK AND WILL RIP YOU OFF!
I do not think any of the power leveling services out there actually has USp/lâers, because they can not pay a US worker 200 USD for 12 days of work.
I used gamepal before and I noticed they use bot so I cancel my order and try Littlepeon2004 to level up my characters because they are very honest folks. They do admit that their game masters are from Vietnam. I have no problem communicate with their game masters in game and they can understand me well enough. I am very happy with them so far although their price is little higher than other services.
I am not suggesting you to “use littlepeon2004” but before using a service, search about them.
Also, cheap price means they are using bot or using Asia IP which easily causes your account got banned.
If they are a big company they can route the connection through a U.S. IP
Santa, you are right, but i think GamePal acts like a middle man, they subcontract their orders to many different Chinese services. So who knows which company actually does route the connection through U.S IP. Random luck i guess :-).
I have an account with 2 level 70’s and one level 55. Total gold from all characters is about 3000g.
I created a new character so my brother could play with me. He did not have the time to level his character, so I suggested he have it done through Gamepal.
So he does. About 3 days in and his character is level 31. I log in that night only to find that my main (70 paladin) has about 700g missing.
I log into my other 70 (mage) and see that there is about 400g missing.
They didn’t take anything from my level 55 Rogue.
I log into my brothers account thinking that they might have used the gold to max him out with weapons and armor.
My brothers character is now level 46 and the money is empty.
So I e-mail them, and get a reply that I need to speak to a live agent.
So I log in and speak to one of their live agents. I explain that my brothers character was empty, and two of my characters were missing a total of 1100g. The person I talked to told me that they get complaints like this every day from people who just want to get gold from them and there was nothing they were going to do about it.
BEWARE! IF YOU HAVE ALTS, TRANSFER YOUR MONEY AND ALL YOUR GEAR TO A FRIEND BEFORE YOU LET THEM INTO YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY WILL CLEAN YOU DRY AND TELL YOU THAT YOU NEVER HAD ANY OF IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!
I’m happy to see my link to my reponses from ripoffreport here since I used to work for gamepal. All you have to do is open a chargeback on gamepal on paypal and they will lose the claim. As far as emailing them, forget it, they could CARE LESS. You might as well just get your money back and be done with them. They are the most fradulent company ever, hence why I quit. They are just a middleman for chinese/philipino companies. Hope to see more people spread the word about this fradulant company! Email me if you need help=)
I’ve used Gamepal on multiple occasions and have never had a problem with it or had any interactions with anyone who had the trouble with English that these other people are talking about. Were we using the same website? I’ve never had any character or account banned and my deliveries have always been really fast. I have nothing to complain about and find it hard to believe that my purchasing experiences could be so anomalous.
I actually asked Gamepal about it the other day through their help stuff when I was buying gold, and they said the negative reviews were probably competing sites saying bad things about their service, which is fairly common in the industry. That’s kinda sad. I mean, yeah they could have just been trying to assuage my concerns, but it does make sense.
My philosophy has always been to look at the sites and read impartial reviews and talk to people myself. And ignore the sites that spam in-game. It’s worker for me so far and I see no reason to change now.
Not a Hater – Just keep using their service and see if you don’t end up banned like everyone else here. I personally know at least three people who have been banned using Gamepal, not counting the people that have posed comments here.
Not A Hater – may be a Gamepal employee rather than an actual consumer.
I purchased an account to use for guild function as really were desparate for a particular character. I followed all the instructions provided by Gamepal to ensure the account would be protected. 1 day after purchasing the account was taken back by orignal owner/hacker/Gamepal – you choose.
As anyone who has played the game is aware – to use password recovery requires a set of answers that were used to set up account. So I highly doubt it was a hacker who managed to get change the password not once but twice.
I had the account for 1 day before it was taken and I notified CRS/Recover/Accounts as instructed. I could even see the account being played using my main account. Hackers don’t join guilds as it requires interaction. The account was played by the owner over the course of 2-3 days in which it was completely stripped by the time it came back to me.
When I notified Gamepal again I never heard a response from them other than to be patient.
It has been a month now with no satisfaction. I have started a credit card fraud transaction with American Express and have been advised to notify the http://www.bbbenc.org and file a complaint. If you didn’t know – Gamepal has filed for bankruptcy before and moved its headquarters to NC where it is currently operating.
I recently purchased warcraft powerlvl’ing from http://www.gameleveling.com and yesterday my account got banned because of the same reasons, use of third party automation software. When I confronted them, they said they didn’t use any bots (not a big suprise) and they don’t pay my money back. So I urge everyone to avoid that website as well if you are purchasing powerlvl’ing.
no biggie guys,. if your account got banned, just dispute through paypal. they have no chance but giving your money back, and i’ve gotten every single cent back from them. one more lesson, Dont use powerleveling service, cuz blizzard they know what’s going on out there, and if they see anything suspicious, they will just ban your account for good.
They are a joke. I don’t know anybody who could seriously recommend Gamepal without being an actual employee. Gamepal could care less if your account gets stolen or hacked or banned, they only see $$, thats why they hire poor philipions and chinese to do everything to maximize profits. Just open a dispute on paypal and charge them back. If they get a ridiculous amount of chargebacks after a while, paypal will shut their account down.
Ive never use Gamepal but ive used Wowmine i got 30-40 nothing happend. so i got to 48. then i got more power leveling from 48-60. i had my account for a about 8 days easter moring this account has been closed for the use of third party softwear so i got on the chat with Wowmine and they gave me instrutions to get it back and they said 90% of the people get there accounts back so i emailed bliz with what they said nothing same thing i kept emailing them and they gave me more info still never got it back i got on the chat again and i told them what i did whitch is what i said and they just boot me off lol.
Can you sue someone if you purchase an account and they take it back? I mean if someone sells an account to gamepal and then take it back couldent paypal just sue them for fraud or something? The only reason why they might not be able to is because technicially it says in the eulo or agreement for blizzard or soe that you can buy/sell accounts because they are there property. But at the same time these sites do not get shut down.
If you purchase an account from paypal and the original owner reclaims it could you sue them for fraud for taking it back?…the owner I mean.? The reason I ask is that blizzard/soe says its there property so I’m not sure if you could sue someone for something that is not yours in the first place to sell.
I ran into this post when researching about gamepal and thank you all for your posts, I have definately decided against making the purchase. $400 dollars they are asking for account and thats alot to throw away if it does get taken back especially if there is no recourse.
hy …. dont buy powerleveling from POWERLEVELVIP.COM … i got my account banned for using third party softwear … and never recieve my money back ….even if i ask gold for them ! if somebody knows a fair company for powerleveling …pls tell me !
Im trying to find somewhere to sell my WOW account, i was actually looking at doing it through Gamepal, but after reading this site, im not sure it is a good idea! Can anyone recommend somewhere that wont rip me off or the people that might buy the account??
I have purchased about 10 accounts from gamepal.com without any problems. You guys know the risk of doing powerleveling, it’s your own fault if you order. Blizzard clearly says DONT ORDER POWERLEVELING. The safest way is just to buy an account off their website because they will give you the secret word and email addresses if you ask so nobody can take your account back. Very interesting posts thougn, but gamepal has been fair to me.

that sucks, I used gamepal once for gold didn’t have any problems. I’ve been using The Unknown Gamer.comthere support isn’t always available but they are definitely american and honest got a 1-60 no problems, i’d definitely recommend em.
Cody
Ouch. So I am not alone. I understand there is a certain amount of risk involved in these’s services. Gamepal.com has consistantly become worse. 3 times now I have recieved messages from them with other people’s account information by “accident.” Therefore I understand they sub-out all there PL services, also notice that their PL LiveHelp is never active, only currency. One of my accounts got banned because the PL’r sent Gold that he made from world drops on my account to his “Bank” on my server, when his bank got deleted so did my “associated account” because Blizz traced all his transactions. So it appears that they can charge so little for PL’s because they use your character to make gold for them, which they sell right back to you.
Kelly T:
Come on. Gamepal NEVER gives you the secret question answer. Even if they did, it is WORTHLESS to you as you can not access the email to recover the password. You are a liar. Gamepal does nothing but cheat people out of their money and could care less if the account got stolen back. Their company won’t last too much longer as they are on the decline.
Anyways, you can not sue over this matter. The best advice is to not purchase accounts as you have the risk of somebody stealing them back. As far as powerleveling goes, most sites are trustworthy, but most will get you banned these days.
I’ll weigh in here with my own personal experience. After Gamepal lost my account, I went on to Craigslist and found quite a few people selling their accounts for prices that ranged from reasonable to insane. I ended up purchasing an account with a couple high levels. The guy I bought it from was pretty cool and helped me through the process. Make sure to get the password and everything from the person you purchase from.
I don’t see how a third party service will make the transaction of purchasing an account any more secure than being well informed and doing it yourself through Craigslist. And with all the bad experiences people have shared here about Gamepal, there would be zero reason to trust them to look out for your interests.
We started a site to start comparing and reviewing virtual good vendors…this should be the most complete site yet for such a service. compare prices and vendor reviews here:
http://www.spymmo.com
They still owe some of their Major Account suppliers a ton of money. They even screwed over a bunch of their chinese gold suppliers. They only care about themselves.
To those that say do a claim against gamepal via paypal and you will get your money back, you are wrong. I can provide you will all the emails, conversations as well as screen shots where I purchased a 60 mage, 60 druid account over a year ago. They tried giving me a single hunter account and not what I bought. So I emailed and called them saying the confirmation was a hunter not a mage and druid and the lady said “Fu** it, you wont get nothing now” hung up, and would not return calls.
I disputed the charge with paypal, on the next to last day before I would have gotten an automatic reversal, the responded to the claim, “Virtual goods” and paypal sided with them. I ended up having to do a charge back on my visa which ended up closing my paypal account when I did this. I did alot of digging around, got there addy to the owner, but was afraid to go there as I might end up in prison for choking the hell out of the girl and the guy.
These people are nothing but crooks and robbers and If I happen to take a trip back home from Florida to Michagin, I will make a stop over and say hi to them with a few of my air force buddies.
Brian:
You need to open the dispute within 45 days of the purchase to have any chance at winning. The best bet is to not do business with them. Oh and…They are not in Michigan, they are in Raleigh, North Carolina. I can tell you how to get there if you would like to pay them a friendly visit =) 3209 Gresham Lake Road Raleigh, NC 27615. Just use mapquest. Enjoy =)
So here we go. I will start off first by stating the truth. I, like Seisem, used to work for Gamepal. I live in the city of Raleigh, NC where Gamepal.com HQ is at. I had been employed with Gamepal for 8 months. There are many things that have been said in these posts that are true, and there have been many things that are not true. First off I will start with the things that are true. When I had first started working at Gamepal, yes we did use asian powerlevelers, and yes we also used other asian companies for our gold supply when we did not have enough stock of our own. How they worked was like this, and this is how any other business works. A customer would come to our website, place the order for $20, and we would hold that order in our computers and then pretty much place our own order with our own money on an asian farming website for $10. Bam, instant $10 profit. When you add up the amount of orders that we had coming in per week, you are looking at tens of thousands of dollars in profit. It is also true that when Gamepal had used asian powerlevelers that the levelers were stripping the accounts. Not even a month after i had worked there, Gamepal quit using the asian levelers because of how they were ripping off the customers to better their own gold farming sites. The next step that gamepal took to fix that problem was to use a bot program that farms, quests, repairs its own armor, does corpse runs when it dies, and has its own response to whispers that it would receive ingame preventing suspicion of a bot program being used. An example of this is if somebody were to ask it for help on a quest, it would automatically reply with a whisper stating that it was too busy , or if it got invites to a guild it would say something like “no thanks”. The thing is that when i was employed at gamepal, I actually worked with Seisem. The thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that he is trying to start something to get Gamepal shutdown, when he was actually one of the employees that was fired for stripping accounts of customers that had sent unhappy emails about their leveling order. Another funny thing to me is that another reason that he was fired is because he was actually the only employee that I worked with in the entire time i was employed there that told customers in chat that there was nothing that could be done about their account being banned, and that they were “SOL” and that the customer has to read our Terms of Agreement on the website before the order is even confirmed.Seisem however was not an “all bad” employee, in fact he was the best employee that we had at the office for our fraud department. Yes that is correct and you read it right, Gamepal.com actually has a fraud department that will do everything and anything in their power to get stolen or banned accounts back for customers on the gamepal.com website. If there was no way that gamepal could get the account back for the customer, then there was always a setup for a refund for the customer. Stolen accounts were not a problem at all. Gamepal has its own set of lawyers and attorneys, and they will take legal action to the highest step possible when an account has been stolen from a customer, or even if the account is stolen back off of the website. Gamepal quit using asian levelers one month after i had worked there, and they had stopped outsourcing orders to other asian sites about 5 months after i had started working there. How they got their gold stock instead of using the asian sites is the same way that they started doing powerleveling. They started using the same bot program for farming gold that they used for leveling characters, except this bot program has no need to accept quests for xp because the characters used for the farming were all lvl 60 characters, and that was the lvl cap for WoW at that time. Now that the lvl cap is 70, and that gamepal has lvl 70 characters on all servers that are in the outlands, they are making more gold than ever thought possible. Anybody who has farmed in outlands knows how much more gold you can make there than you can in Azeroth. In fact if you go to gamepal.com you will see a message on the main page that states that they are having a sale and that the reason they are having the sale is because they are overstocked on all servers.I recently quit working at gamepal not because i didn’t like what they were doing there, I quit working at gamepal because i wanted to go back to school full-time and would have no way to work even part time for gamepal during the week or weekend. I plan going back and working with gamepal when i am done with school until i can find a job that fits my Gaming and Graphic design major. I know that alot has been written here, and I hope that many will take the time to read this. I will be checking posts and replies to my reply on a daily basis, so if you have any specific questions about how things were run when i worked there then please feel free to go ahead and ask!!
I used a Powerlevelling company a little while ago, I think it was mmoinn.com, I am also trying out another one called http://www.superwowgold.com I’ll let you know how it goes with them.
Just a quick note here; I am getting about 60 – 70 hits per days from Google on terms like “Gamepal review” and “Gamepal ban”. This makes me think that either they are ripping a lot of people off everyday, or we are heading off a lot of business to them from people who are smart enough to do a quick search in Google about them. I hope it’s the later.
Just had a conversation with someone on at Gamepal Powerleveling who I believe to be called Tim (I think he’s the only one in the department). This may answer some of your questions about the company… personally I won’t be investing in powerleveling again (from any company, not just Gamepal) but he seems to give some decent answers anyway.
Notably he outright claims that they do actually reroute their connections through US IP addresses.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Hello, my name is Gamepal Powerleveling Department, how may I help you?
[Greg] hi again
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Hello again.
[Greg] Apologies I got disconnected… you should really get rid of these boldchat people
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] BoldChat people?
[Greg] the chat system
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Ah.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] We are currently looking into revising our LiveChat program.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] We have had a few strange errors with it.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] As I was saying before, we do not use bots.
[Greg] i’ll say.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Blizzard has a wide variety of emails they send to any person suspected of purchasing power leveling.
[Greg] Right
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] We believe the emails they send are worded to scare our customers off from purchasing power leveling services.
[Greg] but why do you not route your connections through the USA to avoid this
[Greg] other companies are doing it
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Blizzard has a wide variety of reasons to suspect power leveling.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Multiple IP’s accessing the same account, change in playing habits/times, and suspicious increase in activity are all things we believe Blizzard bans due to.
[Greg] it’s worth doing anyway, right? they’ll just look at your chinese IP and immedaitely know. you make it very easy for them. getting people banned because you can’t be bothered taking a simple safety precaution, after taking their money, seems extremely harsh to me. Would you not agree
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] I do not know why you believe we have Chinese IP addresses, nor why you do not believe we take every precaution available to prevent bannings.
[Greg] Well it’s clearly obvious because there is no chance you’ll get such cheap labour in the USA.
[Greg] and your powerlevelers are clearly foreign, let’s not pretend here
[Greg] Do you not feel that it’s much fairer to pay people back if they get banned as a result of your services? How would you feel if you paid $150 for a service and got promptly banned afterwards? It just seems very unfair business practise.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] It is our practice to refund our power leveling customers for services unrendered.
[Greg] That’s nothing to do with getting banned though, right?
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] That is all services unrendered.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] If a customer is uncooperative, we reserve the right to refuse a refund, but so long as we can verify all the information we need to to process a refund, we will offer it.
[Greg] So let me get this completely clear
[Greg] if someone took a 1-60 service from you, service is completed, they play for 72 hours and then get banned. They send all their info over and they’ll get a complete refund correct?
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] I’m afraid we would not be able to offer a refund if the account has been returned to the customer.
[Greg] But we both know Blizzard will only ban you once a different IP logs back on, which will be after the account gets returned
[Greg] obviously
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] It is extremely rare for Blizzard to ban after a customer has received his account.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Unfortunately, if the customer has regained possession of the account, there is no way of knowing if Blizzard banned the account due to the action of our power levelers, or any other action.
[Greg] I suppose that is true
[Greg] however I do think you guys should look into rerouting your connections
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] As I said before, I do not understand why you’re under the impression we do not. We take every precaution possible to protect our customers’ accounts.
[Greg] OK then – do you?
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Yes.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Is there anything else I can help you with today, sir?
[Greg] Nope that is all I wanted to know. I have learned enough to know that future powerleveling on more valuable accounts would definitely be unwise đ
[Greg] but thanks for your help
[Greg] By the way I assume you will be covering this chat more frequently..

[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] As I said before, we are experiencing some major difficulties with our BoldChat service.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] Also, we generally recommend using a bare account on a game card for power leveling.
[Gamepal Powerleveling Department] This means if it gets banned, you lost relatively little.
Gamepal only cares about money and how to get money fast. I sold them around 30000 DUPED WOW gold for only around $200 and guess what?
They did not pay me.
I also got my account banned recently…but i actually dont mind the chars being gone…its the fact that i prob cat use their names again…the server where all my friends are on is almost full…and the names i used wil prob be gone…so now i needa use crappy names like odifji (you know what i mean :)… o and btw…my account got banned after trying to powerlevel a char through gamepal…hmmm i wonder y that happend…
Hi,
ÂżHas anyone here have used DLNS Gaming Inc? i will like to know if they are trustworthy
Please let me know
Sincerely,
Kairi
anyways i do work for gamepal and theres a few people who are forgin who work for them
all plvlers get 70 percent of plvl cost gamepal gets 30 percent
and currency is handled by another department
also the reason everyone was getting ripped off is the person in charge of power lvling was corrupt and ended up getting fired for doing all said things
So glad i seen this before I ordered gold..I have had to no shows on my gold from 2 places already & cancelled order..I think ill just play & make my own gold this isnt worth it.
i sold 1000g to them last week, and i didnt get pay..
I was going to write a diatribe on my horror show experience with Gamepal, but it’s all been said before on this blog.
However I would like to add these comments.
1.) Thanks for putting out the word Ed!
2.) Paypal will NOT refund your money for powerleveling.
3.) “Notahater” is a plant or the owner of GamePal.
4.) I just checked GamePal’s site & they no longer offer the power-leveling service.
5.) If they do offer it again in the future, RUN FAST & RUN HARD in the other direction.
6.) Don’t waste your time with the BBB.
-For the Horde!
Greetings,
I can totaly understand the frustrations of the people here. Most companies out there are for-profit organisations, with the end of the line being profit, and only profit. I wont pretend I aint here for profit, because I am here for profit. But I prefer to make my profit by having SATISFIED customers. The reallity is, if you are happy with the service, you will talk about it. And THATS the best and cheapest publicity ever. Permits me to grow steadily that way.
Feel free to check out my site, as well as do a background check before ordering (I highly advise this for any business you wish to deal with online). The truth is simple for PL’ing. There is bans and suspensions. A good company takes precautions so it doesnt happen very often (And trust me, I have lots), and if it does, offers a no-hassle refund on the parts not completed. The bad ones… Well you guys have been talking about whats been going on thats wrong đ
Sincerely,
Denis Lange

DO NOT sell gold or items to Gamepal, I gave them 1000g and they claim that Blizzard took the gold or that the character got banned and now im left without my gold and without my money. đ

What good does a “partial refund of parts not completed” do for someone who has their account banned?
You should offer a TOTAL refund if you are so sloppy as to be detected.
I could charge $200 to level a toon to level 60 by using a Bot. The character will probably get to at least level 30 before he is detected and banned. I give you back half of your money and keep that other $100 for doing nothing more than having my computer run your toon around. And then I turn around and say “Don’t blame me, blame Blizzard!”
If a powerlevling company gets an account banned, they should give a full refund PLUS the cost to purchase a new account.
My beef with GamePal was that at time of purchase they were advertising that the had leveled THOUSANDS of accounts and NONE of them had ever been banned. It was a blatent lie, and after I filed a grievance with the Federal Trade Commision for false advertisment, they changed their website.
Hi everyone, đ
I just wanted to touch base here because I’ve read some of the comments and would like to comment.
First off, let me say that I’ve been a powerleveler for Gamepal.com myself for a few years. If you’ve had a coh/v, swg, or GW order completed by Gamepal.com, it was probably done by my people. Believe me when I say that I know as well as anyone that the PLing department has had it’s problems.
However, I am happy to say that the Gamepal PLing department is under new management… Mine.
I’d like to address a few of the posts and concerns here… First off, no PLer that works for us uses bots. That is expressely forbidden. WoWGlider is easily detectable and any leveler that is caught using the bot is fired. While that is little consolation to the person who’s account was suspended or banned, we do work diligently to make sure that our levelers are doing what ANY player does when they play the account during leveling, eg run quests, sell at the AH, gear up, etc.
Secondly, I’d like to address the opinion that, if an account is banned that Gamepal (or ANY company that does leveling) should issue a complete refund and, according to some here, even compensate the client for a NEW account… Let me start by saying that there isn’t a player out there who doesn’t KNOW that PLing is against the ToS. Put simply, there’s risk anytime someone gets PLing and the risk is known in advance. Clients are, in essence, conspiring with Gamepal to break the ToS, this is not news… While risk can be reduced by the use of proxies, not using bots third party software or bots and such measures, there is NO guarentee. That is, unfortunately, the facts of life in the powerleveling business. If a client’s account is suspended, the powerlevel is stopped and a partial refund is issued immediately for the unfinished portion of the job. Since I’ve taken over PLing (admittedly only a month or so) there hasn’t been a single client whose account is ‘perma-banned’ although we’ve had 72-hour suspensions.
Reading over the chat log that Greg posted, I can say this for sure… A client logging into their account during a powerlevel increases the chances of a ban or suspension by about 500%. NOT logging into an account is spelled out pretty clearly in the Gamepal agreement for that very reason.
As a general suggestion to ALL players who get a powerlevel, as Tim mentioned in the chat log, we HIGHLY recommend getting a second account if you are looking to get a long-term powerlevel. That a) allows you to use your main account while the PL is in progress so the temptation to play is lessened and b) so if there’s account suspension or, even worse, a ban, the loss is only in the secondary account, not your main account.
Anyways, as I said, I realize that the Gamepal powerleveling department hasn’t been run in what I would consider a superior manner and I am working towards fixing that. We are on the live chat for support ‘about’ 21-22 hours a day now so we are fairly easy to get ahold of if there are any problems or concerns a client might have. I would invite anyone to give us a try if they are looking for powerleveling services in WoW or any of the major games out there.
Thanks for reading my long post and, sorry, I know I get wordy at times. đ

Krisit, I have to say that you seem quite nice, but that you are lying.
First, I didn’t receive any refund when my account was banned. So it’s clearly not your policy to refund anyone’s money unless they push hard.
Second, since so many people here are claiming that witnessed the use of bots, why not just be honest and say that it’s your policy to not use bots, but you can’t control your PLers.
And I really have to wonder about the logic of saying that your service has a good chance of getting someone banned, recomending they have a second account because they WILL be banned, and then tell everyone to give you a try.
Well I can say that the levelers we have NOW do not use bots. I do not know when you used the service previously . As I mentioned, I’ve been in control of powerleveling for a month. If your service was before that, I can’t speak for your refund, nor the use of bots. It’s my policy to issue immediate refunds upon the suspension of a client account during the PLing process.
And I don’t believe I ever said ‘you have a good chance of being banned’. As a matter of fact, I said since I took over we haven’t had a SINGLE ban but only suspensions so *I* must question your reading comprehension skills honestly. What I did say, since there seems some clarity needed, is that if you want to minimize your risk a) don’t log in to your account during the PLing process and b) use a second account that you can transfer your completed toon off of so that your MAIN account stays safe.
At any rate, I only came here to clarify a few things and let people know that the PLing department is under new management, not to have my words twisted and misconstrued and called a liar by someone who, unless I’m mistaken, is the author of this blog. Everything I said in my post is 100% true. You can either believe me or not believe, the choice, as always, is the readers but regardless I will not be frequenting this board any longer. I am, however, fairly easy to get ahold of via our LiveChat button on the site (post-1amEST) if someone has any legitimate questions or concerns that they’d like me to address. If I’m not manning the Live Chat, the person who is can get ahold of me easily enough.
Good luck and good hunting to everyone,
Kristi

I’m sure you’ll understand if those of use who have been screwed over by your employer don’t buy your BS. If you have only been there a month, maybe you should see how things go before touting your strong ethics.
[…] My documented experience with Gamepal is oddly the second most popular post on my blog. For those who donât know, I hired Gamepal to âpower levelâ my World of Warcraft character. I just didnât have the time to keep up with the game and wanted to play with my son more. But instead of having my character bumped up a few levels, my account was banned. I had this account for nearly 2 years, so that really sucked. […]
