From Denver, CO., Wesley Cox has been charged with spying on couples’ homes with the use of a video camera. After his arrest, police investigated his home and found many items, such as various women’s underwear. Footage from his video revealed many shots of naked women, as well as footage that showed him masturbating in other people’s bedrooms.
Wesley was charged with both trespassing and unlawful sexual conduct. To find some of the victims, police posted video stills of one bedroom Cox had been in, as well as pictures of some of the things that were confiscated in relation to the crime. One item was of a girls cheerleading outfit, which was from Boulder High School. One woman reported that it was her bedroom on the news, and six women were able to identify their undergarments from photographs.
Cox was arrested on Monday and was then charged with second-degree burglary for four different counts, and first-degree trespassing on three different counts. Other photos have been released, which can be viewed at www.bouldercolorado.gov. Police believe that there may be many other victims of Cox’s crime. Unfortunately, many women may not even know they have been victimized, so police are hoping showing photos will help bring more women forward.
