Ryan Junglas loves being the center of attention

We are human. We get jealous. In Allentown, Pennsylvania, twenty one year old Ryan Junglas has totally redefined the meaning of the word jealous! Granted, he was jealous because another person was getting too much attention. He was jealous because people paying more attention to this other person than to him. Ryan Junglas was jealous of a two month old baby boy!

From the middle of August, 2008 through October twenty fourth of the same year, Junglas repeatedly punched, kicked, head butted, bit, tried to suffocate, threw down in the crib, and twisted the testicles of that two month old boy. Additionally, for three weeks he shook the baby for approximately five minutes about five times a week. Junglas admitted to all of this when he was arrested in November, 2008.

The baby reportedly has fractures and other injuries. One of the doctors who examined the infant stated that he suspects the baby may also have suffered brain damage at the hands of Junglas but further testing is needed to confirm or rule out that diagnosis.

Junglas is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and simple assault. He is being held without bond at the Lehigh County Jail. All of this because Ryan Junglas was jealous that a two month old baby was getting more attention than him!
