The Bugatti Chiron is one of the most legendary supercars in the world. And with a 1,479 hp quad-turbo W16 engine, it’s no wonder. But Bugatti is always looking for their next improvement, that next improvement comes in the form of the Sky View option.
Sky View features 2 glass panels affixed to the roof, each measuring 25.6 inches long and 17.3 inches wide. The tinted privacy glass is actually 4 wafer-thin layers that not only help bring sunlight to the cabin but also increase the stiffness of the roof. Along with adding a little extra (1-inch) headroom, the option also adds extra exclusivity to The Chiron, in case owning one wasn’t exclusive enough.
Adding this option to the Chiron, a car that goes from zero to 60 in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 264 miles per hour, is just part of the fun coming from Bugatti this month. A rumored remodeled body for $5.8 million, the Bugatti Divo is just around the corner.
No pricing has yet been announced for the Sky View option, but I’d imagine for anyone paying over $3 million for a car, the increased price that provides a cool glass roof and an extra inch of headroom are not deal breakers.
