Lets’ all agree on one thing – all travelers want to reach their destination as quickly as possible without wasting time along the way, such as several stops, layovers or delays. With that being said, Boeing’s BBJ 777X makes that dream a reality, as it will become the first business jet capable of flying from any location to another destination, nonstop. Not to mention, you’ll be traveling quite comfortably with a spacious cabin – nearly 8 feet tall and 20 feet wide— providing plenty of room to work, socialize and relax.
The jet will be available in two models, the BBJ 777-8 and the BBJ 777-9, while each will sell for nearly $400 million. The 777-8 features the longest range at 13,400 miles, in addition to a spacious 3,256-square-foot cabin. The 777-9 offers an even larger cabin at 3,689 square feet, while still offering a range of globe-hopping range of 12,660 miles.
Boeing’s BBJ 777X was introduced this week in Dubai at the Middle East Business Aviation Association trade show, in which executives unveiled three cabin concepts created by leading design shops—Greenpoint Technologies, Jet Aviation, and Unique Aircraft Design. Each of these concepts approaches space in different aspects.
Greenpoint created a sense of spaciousness and simplicity with its relaxed gray, black, and white palette. Jet Aviation brings a white background into high relief with accents of deep brown and gold, plus a three-part private suite, which includes a bedroom, spacious bath, and a private sitting room. Unique Aircraft achieved a luxurious ambience, with designs consisting of silver and gold hues. It features an open lounge, a dining room, an office/conference space, and a master suite. A passenger cabin with space for up to 36 to fly in first-class and business-class comfort is also included.
The first Boeing 777-9 is expected to be delivered in 2020, while the 777-8 is expected to follow shortly after.
