The Matches is an Alternative/Rock group Oakland, California. Present band members include Shawn Harris(rhythm guitar, vocals), Matt Whalen (drums), Jon Devoto (lead guitar, backup vocals), and Dylan Rowe (bass guitar, backup vocals). Releases include E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals (2003), Decomposer (2006), as well as A Band in Hope (2008).
