I was really hoping to see an iPhone appear at WWDC, but no such luck. I am happy to see the Mac Pro released, and I was pretty impressed with the features shown for Leopard. The remote desktop feature of iChat really looks awesome.
I couldn’t shake this funny feeling throughout the presentation that someone from Microsoft is sitting in the audience with a pencil and paper, making notes on what will be the successor to Vista. That is of course if Vista releases before 2008.
And I think it’s funny that people are giving Apple shit for pushing back their release date of Leopard to spring of 2007. Clearly they want Leopard to go head to head against Vista.
So I guess I just have to wait a little longer for that iPhone, or a true video iPod. Hopefully we will see something in November.
