Hot Club of Cowtown is a Jazz group from Austin, Texas. This group began in 1997; Band members include Elana James (vocals, violin), Whit Smith (vocals, guitar), and Jake Erwin (upright bass, vocals). Releases include Swingin’ Stampede (1998), Tale Tales (1999), Dev’lish Mary (2000), Ghost Train (2002), Continental Stomp (2003), The Best of the Hot Club of Cowtown (2008), and Breakfast of Champions (2008).
