I didn’t think Eli Stone was going to be a very good show. I watched it primarily because I was curious what type of television show Jonny Lee Miller would do. But I was wrong, and I started to enjoy the quirky show. It became a bit of a guilty pleasure, the closest thing to a musical I would ever watch.
But like most good shows, Eli Stone is coming to an end. No more singing and dancing lawyers. This is a shame because I can’t help but feel the show was heading somewhere interesting.
I also have to mention that I thought Julie Gonzalo was the hottest actress to hit television last year. I will greatly miss seeing her every week, although I’m certain she will land on her feet.
Who knows, maybe Eli Stone will be one of those shows that people rally around to save. That type of fan base gave Jericho a short reprieve. Hopefully there will at least be some sort of closure for the finale, unlike Jericho.
I just heard that Eli Stone has been cancelled and Im gutted, living in the UK i watched a couple episodes and was so hooked that i bought the series on dvd and loved it. Now ive learned its no more. How many episodes of season 2 have been filmed? Will it see out the series or is it just axed straight away?
Your so right!! All the good shows have been and are being canceled. I'm so sick of reality shows!!! The reality is that its just bad acting!!! The stations are trying to save money. I don't watch much tv now because there is nothing good to watch. And I have stopped watching reality tv.

We need to save good shows like Eli Stone. Just like the show Chuck, these new quirky shows are needed on TV. I am tired of realty shows, cop shows, csi shows with all the gory detail. Enough already. I want different and quirky, and fun and some depth and warmth. The times are tough out there. Give us good writing and actors like on eli stone.Wake up ABC and stop moving things around. and cancelling.
I could not agree more! This show is outstanding,my husband and I make sure that we are both home from work on the night that Eli on!

My favorite show of all time is Quantum Leap. Eli Stone is a wonderful show with a great main idea behind it. It is so much better than any reality show on TV. I hope somehow this show will continue.
Marlene and Clent – I agree with you both. It’s a shame to see the network roll out interesting, unique shows, only to cancel them to make room for more reality television.
Maybe the show will be saved somehow, although it’s hard to believe that’s possible after watching Jerhico fall off the air.

I am so mad at ABC this year! They have had some great shows they’ve just ignored! My husband and I absolutely LOVED Dirty Sexy Money! Pushing Daisies wasn’t too bad either and my husband also loved Eli Stone. I think it’s a mixture of two things: 1. The shows’ first seasons were interrupted by the writer’s strike. 2. the execs at ABC didn’t give the shows enough resourced to pick up lost steam from the strike and didn’t give them enough time to recover! If it wasn’t for Desperate Housewives and Samantha Who?, ABC would never be on in my home.
You guys at ABC are crazy, you have canc elled the best three shows on TV, Eli stone is the best, but of course it will do no good to tell you this, i can only hope CBS or NBC will pick up one of these show’s, Johnny Lee Miller was the best..

Please do not have ABC cancel Eli Stone. This is a well-written quality show and they are few and far between on network television. Funny, quirky and well-acted. Too good to cancel.
My friends and I absolutely love Eli Stone! My mother and husband like it, too. It makes me sad that ABC feels the need to cancel it especially when it looks like it’s being replaced with yet another reality show. I watch tv to get AWAY from reality and it seems like there are less and less opportunities to do that since every time I turn on the tv I see another commercial promoting some reality show. *sigh* I really hope ABC doesn’t cancel Eli…
The episode tonight ended with blood dripping down from Eli’s right nostril. He was calling to his brother, while seemingly (to me) beginning to drift off into another vision. Maybe it was a bad reaction from the Dark acupuncture treatment. Maybe Acupuncture doctors are suing ABC for it giving their field of medicine a “bad name”. Nahhh…I think ABC gave Eli a burst aneurism and will let the show die off without any closure. ABC SUCKS…now there’s pretty much no need to have ABC’s channel on my guide. When Eli goes…ABC goes…

@StonerFan I added a couple shots I found on the Web. It’s hard to find a good picture of Julie Gonzalo from the show. Which is odd because she is, in my opinion, the hottest woman on TV right now.
I’m really bummed out about the show going off the air. It sucks when the networks finally put out something creative and meaningful, and then yank it off. I guess we need more room for reality television.

Please, please, please don’t take Eli Stone off the air. This is the most witty, funny, charming, well written show my husband and I have seen in a long time. ABC would be making a huge mistake if Eli Stone didn’t continue in the future. Finally there is something worth watching on public television. Please save the show for the millions of fans of Eli Stone. Thank you for your time.
I really can’t believe ABC is cancelling Eli Stone. I know it’s all about the ratings, but I feel that ABC should give it some more time, or at least finish the last remaining four episodes. It is truly one of the best TV shows I’ve seen in a long time. I will greatly miss it.

I loved Eli Stone; the show was actually getting me to watch TV again. I never missed it if possible. If ABC is really letting it go, as it would seem, I'll probably go back to giving up on TV entirely. And if we don't get to see resolution of the story, I'll be extremely disappointed. What are these networks thinking?
I did some checking, and it appears there are a lot of sites where people are complaining about the cancellation. I can't help but think that ABC must know it's a mistake to cancel the show. If it's not getting the ratings they want, pump up the marketing. I have a hard time believing that people are abandoning the show once they watch it.

My husband told me Eli Stone is being cancelled and I couldn't believe it. I love that show. The only shows I watch religiously are Eli Stone, Samantha Who and Lost. PLEASE reconsider taking Eli Stone off the air! As far as the nut jobs complaining about the autisim, anuerisim, etc stroylines, anyone with a brain can realize it's just TV. I want my favorite show! Eli Stone is my family's show bring it back please. we all sat together to watch Eli it's really hard to sit 3 daugthers 23,17,10 and Eli kept us still for an hour.
This is the BEST SHOW ON TV. Please ABC my wife and grandchildren and myself all take time out to sit together and watch Eli Stone there is not a show that is more FAMILY frendly show out there!

They're cancelling ELI?! god why? i loved it! is someone going to do something about this? Just like Everwood, this show is so funny, and serious and just a good one to see. it's such a tragedy. I am so very disappointed about Eli Stone ending. It is, by far, one of the best shows on TV!! It had such good stories, and good always won. I looked forward to this show every week. However, I missed a couple of the episodes this summer because It aired late on Sat. night, and I was not aware the shows were on. There was never commercials as to when the show was coming on( or did I miss them)? Does anyone know if the series if available on DVD?
