Château Ausone St. Emilion 2002

Château Ausone defied expectations from the 2002 growing season by creating a fantastic Bordeaux red.   The wine’s striking purple shade obscures hints of blackberries, rain-covered stones and fresh flowers.   Connoisseurs should heed the winemaker’s advice that this vintage reaches its peak flavor in 2035 by storing bottles in a wine cellar.
