Sometimes the best wine have to properly age. Buying fine wine can be not only expensive, but also a test of patients.
This red vintage from Argiano needs to sit until at least 2012 to achieve the fullest flavor possible. The 2004 Solengo was made from Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon without leaning too heavily on one style. Argiano’s popular vintage teases the average taster with robust aromas like almond, hickory and cherry.
2012 may seem like a long time to wait, but some wines are worth the wait. Argiano has an excellent reputation, so I’m thinking the 2004 Argiano Solengo will be one of those wines.
