1001 Nights Orchestra is an Acoustic group of Austin, Texas. Band members include Kamran Hooshmand (guitar, vocals), Don Weeda (accordion, keyboard), Ken Maranian (Clarinet), Lauren Cecchio (percussion), and Anne Alexander (percussion). Guest musicians include Mark Rubin and Lisa Schneider. Releases include Music from the Middle East & Beyond (2002) under Kamooli Recordings.
