From Tampa, Florida- Twenty-six year old LaShaun Ivan Regional Robinson was arrested and now faces a felony assault charge for the alleged attack on his pregnant girlfriend of two years. Robinson was unemployed at the time of the attack, and was caught by his pregnant girlfriend in the act of adultery.
The assault occurred when, according to police reports, Robinson was caught by his pregnant girlfriend in bed with another woman. An ensuing argument between the two led to a physical altercation. Robinson’s response to the fight was to beat up the pregnant girl, because, according to police reports, she interrupted them. The girl was about one month into her pregnancy when the attack from Robinson occurred.
According to police Robinson pushed the girl into the bathroom, and into the bathtub. He then proceeded to punch and slap her, and even bit the girl repeatedly. During the course of the attack, he was able to grab hold of a knife and used it to slash the girl two different times.
Robinson was then arrested and is currently being held with no bond set. He is in the Hillsborough County Jail, and faces charges of aggravated battery towards a pregnant female, which carries a felony charge.
