Kam Franklin is a Soul/Experimental performer from Houston, Texas. This artist has been influenced by the likes of Prince, Tiger Army, Ella Fitzgerald, and Chaka Khan. She started singing at the age of five in a Baptist Church; and she is a former member of The Blue Lights. In 2005, she formed the band Heptic Skeptic. She later released her solo EP Bamitskam in 2008.
