Bras aren’t just for women anymore. The Japanese online retailer, Rakuten, launched the men’s bra two weeks ago and has already sold over 300 men’s bras. Making the man bra the single best seller in men’s underwear for Rakuten.
I’m not quite sure what makes men’s bras so different from women’s bras but I want to find out. I assume the sizes would be a lot different. The sizes listed on the website are A85 and A90, which doesn’t leave much room for the men with larger chests.
Why would a man want to wear a bra? Well, the first and most obvious reason is that he may be a cross dresser, transgender or transsexual. Another possibility is that he has large breasts and wants to either support them or conceal them. A man’s breasts can become enlarged if he is overweight or because fat has gathered and settled there.
Many of the bra’s purchasers have said they have been waiting for this for a long time. They have also said that the bra “feels good”.
You may remember an episode of Seinfield that joked about the idea of a bra for a man. A brassiere for a man. The mansiere, get it?
The men’s premium brassiere retails online for about $30 USD. No doubt, this could be a new trend for men in the 21st century. And fellas, In case you were looking for matching panties, the website also sells those.
Just in time for Christmas. And I agree with Krammer, we should call it “The Bro”.
lol. I do remember that episode! if the guy really needs “The Bro” hey what can i say?
