Awkward I is a band from Amsterdam/Groningen, Netherlands, with several members including Djurre de Haan (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Diederik Nomden (keys, percussion, guitar, vocals), Asta Kat, (vocals, sampler, percussion), and Jelte van Andel (cello, bass, vocals). Their forthcoming album and do you release in spring of 2009 is entitled I Really Should Whisper.
